This is my favorite painting I've done so far! The photo was taken on our family vacation to South Haven, Michigan this summer. I was attracted to the value changes and the vast vareity of greens. :)

Be prepared to see more paintings on the blog that look similar to this one! :) Last weekend, I led two painting workshops at our church's women's retreat...and in preparation for those, I gave myself lots of practice in leading groups in creating this scene. :) I ended up with a stack of paintings that look very similar...so I had a painting giveaway on my Jessica Green Artwork Facebook page last Tuesday evening. I gave 11 paintings away in 27 minutes, it was really fun!
