This painting is from a lovely morning of painting with my artist buddies Addie and Rachel. It was so fun to be together, discuss artsy things, eat cookies, and of course paint! I just wish I had gotten a pic of the three of us artists!....Next time! :)

These past few paintings I've posted (no. 232-236) are from our family vacation to South Haven, Michigan we took in August. This was my first time taking my painting stuff with me on vacation, but since this was also our first year having a mini van...I figured we had the space, I needed to try it! This painting, 'On the Bluff' I did on the last night. My other painting attempts during the week went alright, but this night of solitary plein air painting was almost magical. I just loved my time painting in this beautiful spot and am also happy with how this painting turned out!
