Painting No. 7, 5x7in, oil on gessoboard
I was struggling to control the paint on the gessoboard...plus my edges were getting screwed up, so I started using my Colour Shaper tool (which I have been using for my signature on my paintings) to sketch back all my lines. There are still some things that bug me about this painting, but I ended up actually liking the bright orange lines. Kind of a happy accident. The lines give a sense of movement and give what would be a fairly boring subject a little spunk. :)
