Painting No. 81, 7x14in. oil on cradled hardboard
I'm really happy this how this one came out....I kept the style nice and loose. It's definitely not over-worked (which is a huge pet peeve of mine). I like how you can see the bright orange underpainting poking through in several areas, nicely contrasted with the muted, almost monocromatic colors of the painting. The size is fun too. You can't see it from this one photo, but it's on cradled hardboard with natural wood edges...looks great all together. :)
