Here are two small paintings I did for a dear college friend if mine named Emily. She commissioned me to paint these as a surprise for her husband Justin's birthday. It's of both of their homes...the first is in the country, then just a few years ago they moved to an urban setting near Cincinnati, Ohio. Anyway, I wish I have saved the reference photos because it would be interesting to see next to my finished paintings....but can't find them on my computer, oh well! Side note: Emily and Justin are just about the neatest people you'll ever meet. We visited them a few years ago while they were in the country and they started roasting coffee using a popcorn popper....there's been a lot of crazy open doors and a lot of hard work since then, they just opened a coffee shop where they sell their own roasted coffees. (They also ship I'm pretty sure if you need gift ideas or are a coffee lover yourself) They have a unique mission of intertwining missions with coffee.
